In the year 2000, CCPL entered the field of Non-conventional
Energy sources with the introduction of the Biomass Gasifers
to its customers.
The Company has signed a MOU with TK Energi AS, Denmark,
for fixed-bed gasifiers and EQTEC Iberia SL, Spain for fluidised-bed
gasifiers.

In India, the following Fiscal & Promotional incentives
are given by the Government for biomass gasifiers :
- Excise Duty exemption on many items
- 100% depreciation in the very first year
- Soft loan availability through IREDA and other Agencies
- Sales tax exemption - varies from State to state
- Industrial clearance not required
The special features of biomass gasifiers from CCPL are :
- State of the art Technology having undergone extensive
testing both at the laboratory and field level
- Option of fixed bed gasifier or fluidised bed gasifier
based on the type of biomass used as fuel.
- Available in modules upwards of 5kg/hr up to 1000kg/hr.
